ARIFA successfully delivered a high-impact capacity building program for the Zanzibar Health Services Fund (ZHSF) focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Advanced Java (Spring Boot). The training program was conducted in Pemba, Zanzibar, Tanzania, and concluded with the graduation of ZHSF staff after successfully completing the intensive professional training. The initiative reflected ZHSF’s commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence within the healthcare sector. The program aimed to strengthen technical capacity, improve systems efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance institutional competitiveness through AI and digital technologies. ARIFA extended appreciation to the Director General of ZHSF for championing the initiative and to Ms. Raya for her coordination and support throughout the program. Special recognition was also given to the training instructors Zephania Reuben, Philipp Ramjoué, Athanas Shauritanga, and Daudi Ramadhani for their contribution to the successful delivery of the program. Participants gained practical skills in AI applications, machine learning, software development, and digital transformation strategies designed to support smarter and more efficient service delivery within the health sector.
