ARIFA successfully hosted the 1st ARIFA Leadership Breakfast Forum under the theme “Fueling Africa’s AI Future: From Hype to Real ROI.” The forum brought together leaders, innovators, policymakers, and decision-makers to explore how Artificial Intelligence can move beyond buzzwords into measurable economic and organizational impact. The event highlighted Africa’s unique opportunity to lead AI-driven transformation through its youthful population, growing digital ecosystem, and expanding innovation landscape. Discussions emphasized AI as a productivity multiplier, economic engine, and strategic tool for institutional transformation. Participants also explored the importance of governance, ethics, digital skills, infrastructure, and AI-ready systems in achieving sustainable AI adoption. Eng. Prof. Zaipuna Yonah (PhD) delivered the keynote address, providing insights on AI leadership, strategic adoption, and the future of AI-driven development in Africa.
