Priority Areas

Agriculture Can you imagine an industry that involves more risk than agriculture? You reap what you sow, they say. But what they forget to add is “if you’re lucky.” When the weather strikes or crops get affected by disease, farmers can hardly talk about yields. Or when a global pandemic hits, all of a sudden it gets harder to manage various processes because most are not digital. Implementing technology through AI in agriculture on a global scale is one of the most promising opportunities. AI has the ability to transform 21st century agriculture by:

Providing real-time monitoring to promote greater health and quality of produce.
Increasing efficiency of time, labor, and resources.
Improving environmental sustainability.
Making resource allocation “smarter”.

Climate Change & Environment The major sources of climate change are global warming, rapid urbanization and industrial revolution. The growing risk of climate change has a disastrous impact on earth organisms, including human beings and earth's flora and fauna. It further leads to the destruction of the food chain and economic resources. AI is a disruptive paradigm that has greater potential to offer better climatic predictions, show the impacts of extreme weather, find the actual source of carbon emitters and includes numerous other reasonable contributions. This enables the policymakers to be aware of the rising sea levels, earth hazards, hurricanes, temperature change, disruption to natural habitats, and species extinction.

Financial Technology IT & AI has become sought-after knowledge as businesses are apt to learn in the growing kingdom of automation, machine learning, robotics, analytics and more. Financial services providers are making efforts to adopt AI for mundane task automation, consistent customer services, deep-dive behavior analysis, as well as efficient fraud finding. They also need to manage the risks and concerns that arise along the journey of transformation. ReSITAI is ready to be the strategic and implementation partner for financial services providers who would like to embrace the changes in the shifting market landscapes.

Healthcare AI technologies becoming ever present in modern business and everyday life is also steadily being applied to healthcare. The use of AI in healthcare has the potential to assist healthcare providers in many aspects of patient care and administrative processes, helping them improve upon existing solutions and overcome challenges faster. To impact the health care industry ReSITAI aims to perform research and trainings on the following areas:

Diagnosis and Treatment Applications.
Natural Language Processing.
Administrative Applications.
Rule-based Expert Systems.
Machine Learning.

Policy From our inception we are meant to participate in numerous efforts to improve the governance of IT & AI technologies nationally and internationally, and in both the private and public sectors. Our activities will range from the development of the IT & AI principles to support the governments and key industry stakeholders on recommendations related to IT & AI in the digital cooperation roadmap, to providing formal input on regulations and government policy proposals both nationally and internationally.
